Board approves $14,991 January amendment to FY26 operating budget

Ms. Sopa explained the amendment included three modest additions to restricted revenues: a Rochester Institute of Technology grant to Rising Sun High School to support Project Lead the Way classroom supplies, Perkins grant additions to support CTE supplies at the Cecil County School of Technology ($13,593), and a $1,278 charge paid from student activities funds at Northeast High School to purchase cameras for an art classroom. Dr. Lawson recommended approval, Mr. Davis moved the motion and the board approved the amendment by voice vote.
