The Nacogdoches City Council removed item 6a from the consent agenda and approved the remaining consent items at its June 4 meeting. A council member said they wanted more information about repairing the Lenanna Creek Trail retaining wall, so the item was pulled for separate discussion.
After discussion, the council approved the remaining consent agenda items. The mayor then nominated Kathleen Bellinger as mayor pro tem and Chad Huckleby as vice mayor pro tem; both nominations were seconded and the council voted to approve the appointments.
The meeting recessed to an executive session under Texas law and later returned with no action; the mayor adjourned the meeting.
