LA JOYA ISD board member Ced Sogelman Jr. thanks Cesar Chavez Middle School during recognition month

Ced Sogelman Jr., a member of the LA JOYA ISD school board, said he spent the morning visiting multiple district campuses as part of school board recognition month and thanked Cesar Chavez Middle School staff and parent volunteers for their welcome.

Sogelman, who identified himself as a school board member, said the campus visits offered a chance to hear directly from families and staff. "It was an honor that Cesar Chavez Middle School allowed me to speak with parent volunteers to hear their wonderful feedback," he said.

He said the tour included visiting classrooms and meeting with parent volunteers and staff, and he expressed pride in representing students, families and district employees.
