San Antonio ISD announced its open enrollment period for calendar year 2026 and detailed benefit changes for district employees. The district said the enrollment window runs through Oct. 3, and that any plan changes will take effect Jan. 1, 2026. A district representative said the district will begin contributing $50 per month to a health savings account for each staff member who selects the high-deductible health plan beginning Jan. 1, 2026. The speaker also said that, after maintaining the same premium rates for the past five years, there will be a premium increase this year. Employees were encouraged to review plan options, consult the employee portal, and attend scheduled benefits information sessions. The district closed by reaffirming its commitment to employee well-being and thanking staff for being part of the SAISD community.
