Council reappoints JB Watson as town auditor after RFP review

Staff compared proposed hours, partner involvement and client size and concluded JB Watson proposed more audit hours and a larger proportion of partner time at a lower overall cost.
Town staff recommended continuing with JB Watson given the higher estimated service level and cost advantage; council voted unanimously to select JB Watson as the town’s provider of audit services.
Council asked no further questions and approved the recommendation.
