The council approved an award for the FY25–26 resurfacing contract to Grama Pavement Services Inc. for $1,189,859.81. Public-works staff presented bidding results and said the town received multiple bids with prices clustering around the engineer’s estimate; the chosen bid was in the expected range.
Staff said the project will prioritize back-end portions of Brook Valley (phase 2) this year and complete remaining resurfacing in Brookhaven over the planned phases. Council asked whether more roads remained from the 2021 pavement study and staff replied the list identified in that study had been exhausted.
A council member made the motion to award the contract and the council voted unanimously to approve the award as presented.
