Lincoln High senior Bradley Noffsinger praises school, outlines Running Start and career plans

Bradley Noffsinger, a senior at Lincoln High School, told the Walla Walla Public Schools meeting that frequent moves as a child in a military family made schooling difficult until he transferred to Lincoln.
"It's been, like, the best school that I've ever gone to," Noffsinger said, crediting Lincoln's personal atmosphere and supportive teachers for helping him succeed academically after years of struggling. "I've been, like, passing all my classes compared to prior years where I would struggle."
Noffsinger said he attended "like, 8 or 9 different" schools before landing in Dayton and then switching to Lincoln in Walla Walla. He said the school's close relationships with students made him want to be at school and helped him improve his grades.
He told the meeting he will begin Running Start at Walla Walla Community College to gain experience before pursuing postsecondary education and training. "I am soon to be starting running start over at the Walla Walla Community College to get myself a little bit of experience and readiness before I fully go into college for electrical work," he said. He added that he hopes to work in HVAC or electrical fields because his brother did it and he finds it "a fun, well paying job."
Noffsinger urged classmates to keep trying even when school is difficult: "Even if you don't like school, you definitely need to kind of keep trying towards it and keep hoping for the best, keep looking for something that you enjoy to do in the future."
He closed by thanking school staff by name for helping him prepare for graduation and next steps: "I'd like to thank my school's counselor, Victoria, for all her help... as well as my math teacher, Chris, who has taken me from hating the subject of math to loving it." He also named other teachers — Maddie, Zoe, Koeffler and Eric — as influential to his success.
Noffsinger said he expects to graduate with as many classmates from the class of 2025 as possible. The comment was delivered during the public comment portion of the meeting and did not include a request for formal action.
