The village's finance committee will meet on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 6 p.m. to take next steps on a no-interest loan home repair program, Finance Chair Mister Morton said. Morton said he is coordinating with the senior director of housing from LISC on final steps for the program.
Morton also told the committee that the required paperwork has been submitted to the board of elections to place an energy aggregation measure on the November ballot. He thanked Heidi Culbertson and Auditor Brickway for assisting with last-minute preparations and said the administration's work ensured the question will be presented to voters.
The committee did not take a final vote on either item at the Aug. 14 meeting; both items were announced for follow-up and committee consideration.
