Following the executive session, the board voted on a series of human resources recommendations brought by the administration. The board approved the administration’s recommendation to hire KR as deputy superintendent of academics for 2025–26; to hire NF as assistant principal at Gadsden Elementary; to grant leaves of absence without pay for employees listed by initials (TM and RJ) pursuant to policy GCC/GDC; and to hire the list of 34 teachers presented for the 2025–26 school year. Each recommendation was moved, seconded and carried by unanimous vote.
Miss Hodges summarized the purchase‑order report as "presented as information," and Chair Lomenek announced the adoption and later called the vote results as carrying unanimously.
