Board adopts budget amendment, authorizes reduction in force tied to pool closure, and approves vendor recommendation

At the meeting’s action block, the Tecumseh Public Schools Board of Education approved several administrative and budget items by roll call.

Authorized reduction in force: The board moved to authorize the administration to proceed with the necessary reduction in force in accordance with board policy related to the impending pool closure and demolition. The motion was moved and seconded and passed by roll call, with trustees voting aye.

Budget amendment: Trustees voted to adopt the 2025–26 budget amendment as presented by the administration. The motion carried by roll call.

Copier RFP: The board accepted the administration’s recommendation from the copier request for proposals and authorized the administration to proceed with the recommended vendor contract.
