The committee met remotely and, following a nomination from Sarah McGinley, moved and seconded the appointment. Vice chair Sheila called the vote and announced, "Congratulations, Sarah Scoville. You now become the chair from now until the June," after the tally showed unanimous approval.
The reorganization was the first substantive item on the agenda. The vice chair noted the committee’s membership change and welcomed new member Angel Pettit before the roll-call, and the committee confirmed all other officers would remain in their current roles.
The committee then turned to a proposed Bedford Special Education Stabilization Fund and an accompanying draft policy, which members discussed and later approved. The new interim chair is expected to preside over the presentation of a separate entry findings report at a future meeting.
