Janelle (speaker 10), who identified herself as director of finance for Hopewell Public Schools, told council the operating budget would increase by $3,220,711; additional grants included $310,000 for security equipment and mental-health services. The motion to approve the resolution passed on roll call (motion reported as passed 7 to 1 in the record).
