Wagner introduced the principals and teachers who led the presentation and said CLI is intended to build staff leadership without requiring teachers to leave the classroom.
Teacher leaders described concrete practices: cross‑grade PLT mingles, classroom connections modeled on shared interests, school‑wide house days run by fourth‑ and fifth‑grade ambassadors, and community service partnerships (Paws for the Cause, Lions Club, Wellmore Assisted Living). Tiffany Vickers and other staff outlined how house days and ambassador roles promote leadership and social‑emotional growth.
Presenters highlighted student outcomes and community impact: the school collected 449 pounds of food this quarter that the presenters said helped provide food to 1,736 individuals. Staff also described a schoolwide behavior expectation matrix tied to the house system and the plan to carry tickets and incentives forward into next year.
Board members praised the work and offered congratulations. The spotlight concluded with an invitation to read a full list of honored All‑State band students included in the board packet.
