FAS to launch revamped export-sales reporting system late 2025; users asked to test APIs

The plan: Scott said FAS is "planning to roll out the new export sales reporting inquiry system in late 2025," adding that the new architecture will comply with security protocols while delivering the same underlying data in an improved format.
User testing and timeline: Scott said FAS will send periodic updates through its GovDelivery system and that specific dates for trainings, demonstrations and testing would be provided "no later than 06/30/2025," with demonstrations and training slated for July through September and volunteer testers solicited in July.
APIs and compatibility: Scott warned of minor API changes that may be required and advised data users to participate in user-acceptance testing so they can test connections and automated downloads before the system goes live.
Follow-up: FAS said it will communicate any changes in advance and will provide support during the transition period.
