The Treasurer told the board the Fifth Third account balance was $123,352.07 and the First State account balance was $5,318.87, and that the CIC had received a $37,392.46 deposit from the Hamilton County Land Revitalization Program tied to the organization's grant.

RFP and property maintenance: Chair explained the CIC will issue its annual request for proposals for mowing across its property portfolio and distributed a revised list of properties to be included this year. The Chair said the list adds two parcels: a larger lot at the site of a demolished bank and the row of properties behind the shopping-center parking lot identified as 4933 to 5021 Vine. Bids will be due March 23 by 5 p.m., the Chair said, and the RFP will be posted on the village website; previous bidders will also be notified.
Landscaping expenditure: The board discussed paying for plantings and mulch for a specific area that had earlier received about $700 worth of planting work. The Chair proposed a not-to-exceed authorization of $2,000 for mulch and plants. Secretary Ali Palmer moved to approve the expenditure; the motion received vocal assent from the board during the meeting.
Executive session on property sale: The Chair asked for a motion to go into executive session to discuss the sale of property; multiple board members voiced assent and the Chair said the executive session would conclude the meeting's public portion. The board asked any audience members who wished to remain for the executive-session presentation to step outside and return afterward as needed.
