Members also approved multiple supplemental coaching contracts for winter programs (cheerleading, middle‑school girls' basketball and others) and accepted volunteer Thomas Johns Lovings as a middle‑school wrestling volunteer.
Two educational trips were approved: Miss Kathy Poston's Fairfield Union Day visit to Muskingum University on Nov. 14 (district students only), and Miss Jennifer McClure's chaperone trip for FCCLA members to Blue Jackets Career Day at Nationwide Arena on Dec. 12. The board also approved a second reading of 21 policy revisions required by recent state legislative changes.
During the consent agenda, Belville acknowledged an in‑kind donation of 1,800 concrete blocks and a $500 monetary donation from Miller Farms to support erosion control work; the board approved consent items by roll call. Before adjourning, the board voted to move into executive session "in accordance with Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code." The meeting adjourned to executive session at 7:35 p.m.
