"We have to be notified by a parent or person in parental relationship because we are obligated by the state to report attendance and track it," an administrator said, while also agreeing the text could be clarified.
Administrators committed to revising the draft, removing the redundant sentence and returning a cleaned-up version for the policy committee and the board's second read on the next scheduled agenda.
