Marching band parents ask Levittown board how prop expenses get reimbursed

"Right now, parents are just laying it out and saving receipts," Livoti said. "Sometimes hundreds of dollars over the summer, and we're just not clear how we can stop that without the Marching Band Parents Association paying for it."
Livoti said the association performs fundraising for scholarships and that parents volunteer time to build large props. The board thanked her for the work and said administration would follow up: "Someone will be in touch this week," a board member said, and Superintendent Winch added residents could return to the Aug. 7 meeting for an in‑person response if they preferred.
