Saint Bernard moves forward on Heritage Hill District planning; Yarden Company to present open house Dec. 3

Mayor Stutchell told the Village of Saint Bernard council on Nov. 20 that the Saint Bernard Heritage Hill District Task Force reviewed conceptual plans that include existing buildings such as the old police station and vacant lots slated for new construction. The village received a mini planning grant through Hamilton County and has retained Yarden Company to guide the planning process.
Yarden Company will present visual conceptual drawings at an open house at City Hall on Dec. 3 from 3–7 p.m. and will also attend the village holiday event on Dec. 6. Mayor Stutchell encouraged residents to complete the online survey for the Heritage Hill District; he said 115 people had completed it to date.
The mayor described the effort as a vision to “create a true destination for the village” and invited community participation at the open house and the holiday events. The task force includes village representatives and other Vine Street stakeholders and will use community feedback gathered through the survey and public events to shape next steps.
