Staff said about $536,000 remained after those purchase orders for other planned projects and identified an additional funding source if costs exceed the remaining balance.
Staff also said a company named MABC will test cell‑phone signal readings at school buildings to recommend boosters or antennas to improve reception, and that the new intercom at the high school and tech building is scheduled to be installed and activated around a mid‑October teacher work day and Columbus Day window. Board members asked routine clarifying questions and the administration said it will provide updates on timelines, bids and any required additional appropriations at future meetings.
