Members of the Student Advisory Council gave a brief update at the start of the Feb. 25 meeting.
"I'm Zoha Saidly. I am in eleventh grade," said Zoha, describing a spirit week the week of St. Patrick's Day to boost morale and a Flag Day assembly in March where students will present flags that resonate with them and explain cultural significance. Yash Bide noted course selection deadlines on March 6 and promoted the high school theatrical society's upcoming performances of The Theory of Relativity (Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m.). Sofia Wernetzky said the National Honor Society plans a talent show and a voter-registration drive during lunch, and reported that a Make-A-Wish fundraiser exceeded its goal by raising nearly $4,000.
