At its regular meeting, the Delano Public School District board approved a slate of routine items and voted to adjust community facility fees.
The board approved the consent agenda (motion moved by Ryan and seconded by Jess) in a roll-call vote that carried. The consent and gifts resolution accepted a series of donations to district programs, including $48.95 from American Online Giving for district use, $22 from Charities Aid Foundation for Delano Elementary, $200 from Blackbaud Giving Fund for Delano Elementary, $4,000 from Friends for a Cause for Delano Elementary kindness funds, and several other gifts earmarked for athletics and community education programs.
The personnel agenda was then approved; the board recognized three retirees with more than two decades each of service: Monica Kunkel, Laura Stury and Rose Nichols. The motion to approve personnel matters carried on a voice vote.
Under new business, the board voted to approve revised Tiger Activity Center fees designed to expand hours and adjust rates over a one-year period. The motion was seconded by Sarah and carried on a voice vote.
No controversial or contested items were recorded on these votes. The meeting then moved to adjournment.
