He said the team will present dates for the first public engagement session at the board's Feb. 19 meeting and encouraged the board to help boost response rates via town communications and community social pages.
Board members discussed timing for public meetings (March vs. April), outreach approaches to reach seasonal residents, and the need to clarify which issues the town controls (for example, county or state responsibilities such as sewer). Wes said the project team will return with more detailed data, proposed public‑engagement dates, and a draft plan chapter review at the Feb. 19 meeting.
