The Washington County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a resolution formalizing proposed highway changes related to a new bridge project on Route 725 in Taylor’s Valley.
Assistant resident engineer Joshua Lewis (speaker 3) described the proposed abandonment and realignment of sections of right-of-way associated with the newly completed bridge. Lewis explained which segments would be abandoned and which portions would be taken into the state system to accommodate the new alignment.
The board approved Resolution 2022-22, including a correction replacing an incorrect county name in the draft with "Washington County." A motion to approve the highway change resolution carried 7-0.
