The board also approved an updated Trinity Services food-service agreement for the detention center reflecting a CPI-based food-price adjustment effective Jan. 6; staff estimated the FY26 impact at $2,000–$4,000 and about $8,600 annually, and said the jail can absorb the FY26 cost.
Guilford Mills leases
The board approved a new lease for Carolina Enhancement Services to take additional office space at Guilford Mills and approved renewals for Carolina Enhancement Services, Hope Counseling & Consulting, and Roots and Wings. County attorney reviewed updated lease language that strengthens insurance and liability provisions.
