"We're supposed to get [the award figure] on the thirteenth," a district administrator said, noting the district expects reimbursement and estimated about $40,000 in district allocation for mental-health services depending on district participation and red-tape decisions by other districts.
Administrators said the district will prioritize allocations by school need and principals will decide which contractor best meets their building's requirements. Trustees approved both contracts by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
The board discussed the risk that funding might run out before the 18-month contract term ends and asked staff to monitor available funds and return if budget adjustments become necessary.
