The Sedona Summit 2 Community Facilities District Governing Board approved final budgets for fiscal year 2024–25 for both the Sedona Summit 2 and Fairfield Community Facility Districts and reaffirmed approval of the minutes from the May 28, 2024 meeting.
Finance staff told the board the FY2024–25 spending plan includes $60,000 for the Sedona Summit 2 district and $65,000 for the Fairfield district. The staff member said the money will be used for the Ranger Station barn interior and exterior remodel: "We are budgeting for $60,000 for the Sedona Summit and $65,000 for the Fairfield Community Facilities District," the finance staff member said.
The board opened a public hearing on the Sedona Summit 2 budget and heard no public comment before a board member moved to approve the budget "as presented." The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote with no opposition; the chair declared the measure passed. Later, after brief procedural clarification and another motion to confirm the minutes, the board opened and closed the public hearing for the Fairfield Community Facility District budget. That budget was also approved by voice vote with no opposition.
The meeting transcript records roll-call attendance naming Chairman Jablow and Directors Ploeg, Kinsella, Dunn, Fultz, Furman and Williamson as present at the start of the meeting. The board voted unanimously on the budget measures and on the minutes approval; no individual roll-call vote tallies by name were recorded in the transcript beyond the chair's announcement that there was no opposition.
The board did not record any public comments on the budgets. The chair adjourned the meeting and set the next meeting time for 04:15.
