The Catalina Foothills Unified School District Governing Board unanimously approved its consent agenda at the Feb. 24 meeting, advancing a set of routine but financially significant items.
A motion to approve consent items 3.1 through 3.9 carried without opposition. Key items included approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price award to Core Construction for the Steel Drums and nurses' office renovation at Catalina Foothills High School in the amount of $751,851.50 and the award of RFP 26-02-31 for audit services to Heinfeld, Meach & Co., PC for a one-year contract (07/01/2026–06/30/2027) priced at $52,475 for the first year with options to renew up to four additional years at approximately 3% annual increases.
The board also approved additions to the district’s sole-source vendor list for fiscal year 2025–26, including Cox Media Group LLC, Reddit Inc., Meta Platforms Inc., and Spotify.
A committee member moved the consent motion and a board member seconded; the chair called for the ayes and the motion carried 4–0.
The consent agenda also included routine approvals of meeting minutes, expense vouchers, field-trip and fundraising requests, personnel actions, and acceptance of gifts and donations.
Board members did not pull any items for separate discussion.
