Board members asked for mileage and condition details; transportation staff reported mileage on specific buses (one listed at roughly 131,005 miles with an overhauled engine, another at about 110,000 miles). The superintendent said one unit came from an Indiana district and that the administration had documented inspections and service records before recommending purchase.
The bus purchases and related transportation contracts were included in the business consent agenda approved by roll call.
