At its Sept. 24 meeting the Warren City Board of Education adopted the agenda and approved a slate of routine and required actions by roll call.
Key approvals included: minutes from Aug. 27; the August 2024 financial statement and short‑term investments; budget and purpose statements; a package of transfers and a permanent appropriation resolution for fiscal year 2025; agreements, contracts and leases listed on the agenda; several board policy revisions on second reading; certification actions related to Ohio teacher and principal evaluation systems; tuition reimbursement requests; and personnel recommendations (items a–p). The board also approved acceptance of numerous community donations (clothing, pantry supplies, monetary gifts) that were read aloud by the treasurer.
All listed motions carried by roll call. The meeting closed after a vote to adjourn at 7:17 p.m.
