The Partnership's chair presented a draft trifold resources brochure and asked members to weigh in on audience focus, which resources to include and where to distribute printed copies.
"The main thing that took me a long time was just designing it," the chair said, describing the effort to make the brochure visually accessible. The chair asked whether the listed resources would be those community members actually use and said she will consult local organizations before a second draft.
Members praised the design and recommended additions and distribution strategies. One member read a chat suggestion recommending housingnavigatorma.org as a useful link. Another suggested including the Division of Community Care (part of the health department) as a possible 1-stop place for people seeking housing help. Members advised placing brochures in less-obvious venues (supermarkets, clinics) in addition to shelters and government offices to reach a broader audience.
The chair said she will circulate a revised draft, visit local organizations to ask whether they would host the brochure and investigate printing and translation options. A member recommended asking local printers about translation capability and accessibility.
After the brochure discussion, the Partnership heard a brief Evergreen sewer update (final design nearing completion, construction expected in summer to enable two affordable units) and then adjourned.
