No members of the public offered comment during the hearing. After Mana closed the public portion, the board’s chair moved to approve the contract; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
The board’s action follows the required publication and statutory process described by the district’s counsel. The board did not provide an individual roll-call tally in the public record during the voice vote; the motion passed and the district will proceed to implement the contract as posted.
Next steps include finalizing administrative paperwork and scheduling any required onboarding work ahead of the July start date noted in the contract.
