The Mansfield Parks Facilities Development Corporation’s director told the board on Jan. 8 that staff expect a healthy cash picture for FY26 even with a busy capital program: a draft beginning balance of $20,200,000 and a projected ending balance of $12,600,000, staff said.
Director (staff) walked the board through revenue drivers, noting sales tax was “pretty flat” and activity fees are seasonal. He explained certificates of obligation and the 2022 bond program timing are expected to bring cash in this spring and that certain lease and field payments are still provisional while fiscal-year accounting is finalized.
