Rockwood reports high Summer Academy completion rates, board raises equity and class-size questions

The Rockwood Board of Education heard a summary of the district’s 2025 Summer Academy on Sept. 11, with coordinators reporting high participation and very strong credit-earning outcomes.
Doctor Paul Godwin introduced the report and handed the presentation to coordinators Teresa Rose and Doctor Rick Regina. Rose, who oversaw the elementary sites, said the program helped students build confidence and relationships that carried into the school year. "I watched that fold out and display throughout the entire summer school experience," she said.
