Oak Park’s City Council voted Aug. 18 to award the 2025 Miscellaneous Concrete Project (M782) to Mattioli Cement Company for $450,165.
The contract award was introduced by staff and council members discussed past work and resident feedback. A presenter identified himself as Dan Perils; staff and council described Mattioli as a firm that has handled multiple projects for the city. Deputy City Manager David DeCoster confirmed satisfaction with Mattioli’s work.
Council member Julie Edgar referenced resident experience with replaced sidewalk slabs and thanked staff for follow-up on that work; the award then proceeded to a roll-call vote and the motion carried.
The council’s approval completes procurement for the M782 project; staff will proceed under the terms of the award and coordinate scheduling and resident notifications as appropriate.
