Kokomo board authorizes auction of retired city vehicles on govdeals.com

Chair introduced the item and said the submission came from Jensen Pickett of Central Equipment. "I recommend the Board of Public Works approve the sale of retired and inoperable fleet vehicles and equipment owned by the City of Kokomo," the Chair said.
A Committee member moved to approve the auction on govdeals.com; the Chair seconded and the board voted unanimously in favor. The Chair said the auction is scheduled for March 26 (date given in meeting materials).
The approval authorizes the city to list the identified vehicles and miscellaneous items on the govdeals.com auction platform; the packet listed multiple vehicles and other equipment to be included.
