Board thanks community donors; Samaritan’s Feet pledges roughly 175 pairs of shoes

Administration (speaker S5) said Jimmy John’s has again agreed to support the district’s student-of-the-month program by providing full meals for two students per building each month. Wells Fargo made a classroom gift to a teacher identified in the packet as Grigsby.
Administration also reported that Samaritan’s Feet will donate approximately 175 pairs of shoes to the district for certain identified students. "So we're really, really happy those people have found a place that they could help and they could help the kids in our district," the presenter said while thanking the donors.
The board voted to approve the consent agenda, which included acceptance of these donations. The administration did not present dollar values for the contributions in open session; details were described as included in the board packet.
