Residents press assembly for alternatives to proposed tower site; work session with Title Networks set for Feb. 19

Judy Ulmer, speaking for herself, described a recent collaborative work session with Title Networks and borough staff and said she had collected about 288 signatures on a statement of concern regarding tower relocation. "We did the not a petition, but it was more of a statement of concern…We're up to, like, 288 signatures on it," Ulmer said, offering to share the sign-in sheets with the assembly.
The presiding officer announced that the assembly will hold a work session on Thursday, Feb. 19 at noon in the assembly chambers to receive additional information from Title Networks and discuss alternative tower locations; residents were invited to attend for listening purposes.
Next steps: The Feb. 19 work session will allow staff, the assembly and Title Networks to review alternative sites; Ulmer and other residents asked the assembly to consider those alternatives.
