House Finance advances a package of tax and housing bills after debate on exemptions and rental assistance

Representative Rammell urged support for the bill, saying these granges "are meeting places for community events, for public forums, for weddings" and that the change will help struggling community halls. The motion passed by voice with 15 ayes and 0 nays; the bill was reported out with a due-pass recommendation.
