The Mansfield Planning and Zoning Commission voted March 10 to approve a replat that creates three new commercial lots in the Mansfield Retail Centre addition.
Vice Chairman Axon moved to approve SD 25‑6464, a replat of 12.165 acres at the southeast corner of East Broad Street and South U.S. Highway 287; the motion was seconded by Commissioner Gaudens and carried 6–0 with one commissioner absent. The agenda description lists the addresses as 200 North U.S. Highway 287 and 131 South U.S. Highway 287 and names Westwood Professional Services Incorporated (engineer/surveyor) and property owners as listed on the agenda.
The presenter, identified by the chair as Miss Helena, told commissioners the replat extends a utility easement to an already platted lot (Lot 6 becoming Lot 6R) and creates three new commercial lots (Lots 3, 4 and 5) intended for future commercial development adjacent to the HEB lot. "It's just adjacent to the HEB lot," the presenter said.
The commission opened the public hearing on the plat at 6:06 p.m., found no appearance cards and proceeded directly to commissioner questions and action. There was no public testimony recorded on the plat.
