The presentation, led by the parks director, said Mansfield’s 10‑minute walk rate for parks rose from about 23% at the time of the previous plan to roughly 38% today and that city population is on track to reach roughly 90,000 by the end of the year, with a longer‑term projection of about 104,000 by 2030. “We are on pace to be 10% above last year,” the director said while reviewing sales‑tax and cash‑flow projections.
