Administrator reports MDNR approval of five-year recreation plan; Rotary Park expansion and rezoning updates announced

Staff also reported receipt of a rezoning application for 200 South Clay Street to change the zoning from D2 Heavy Industrial to C3 Highway Commercial; the administrator said staff has not yet prepared a full report but will provide one shortly.
Other updates included no new application yet received for 5759 South Monroe and no updates on the battery storage facility. The administrator said staff expects two requests for setback variances to come before the Zoning Board of Appeals, likely in April given publication and notice requirements.
