County staff briefed the commission committee on a broad set of routine but material items and asked the board to include them on the Dec. 11 consent agenda. Items summarized and forwarded included: budget amendment 2026-26-2 (rollover FDP grants and match $415,885 for Navarre Beach renourishment), FDOT rollover $249,361 for Highway 182 resurfacing, a $1,014,971 CDBG grant award for Whiting Aviation Park (no local match), assorted budget amendments and task orders (design and construction services) and procurement authorizations (examples: task order for Sheriff’s Office Administrative Complex design $579,893.16; task orders for engineering at Archie Glover boat ramp $124,617; and several minor change orders).
Staff presented these as part of the committee’s regular review; the board had no objections and moved the items to the regular meeting consent agenda for Dec. 11. The committee noted that several grant and procurement items were recognized as unspent in FY25 and are being carried forward in budget amendments.
