Springdale Council approves pool contract, waste hauler and new residential beekeeping rules; hears fire fee proposals

The Springdale City Council on Sept. 17 passed three ordinances and advanced two others during a regularly scheduled meeting at city hall.
Council adopted Ordinance 37-20-25, authorizing an addendum with SwimSafe Pool Management Inc. to continue managing pools at the Springdale Community Center for an additional three-year term. The addendum was approved after a second reading and a unanimous recorded vote of seven in favor.
Council also approved Ordinance 38-20-25, awarding a contract to Rumpke of Ohio Inc. for residential waste collection and recycling services through the Southwest Ohio Regional Refuse Consortium. In…
