Tom Hall introduces bid for Springdale City Council District 3, emphasizes public safety and redevelopment

Tom Hall, a candidate for Springdale City Council District 3, introduced himself and urged residents to support his campaign. "My name is Tom Hall," he said, and asked listeners to "please remember to vote for me, Tom Hall, November 4."

Hall said he has been a Springdale homeowner for 33 years and described himself as a retired law enforcement officer with more than 25 years of service. He said he holds a Class A private-investigator and security license issued by the state of Ohio and currently works as director of community development for a local home builder, real-estate developer and rental company.

He listed elected and volunteer roles in local public safety and land-use bodies, saying he served as president of the local FOP lodge, led a large homeowners association and has served eight years on the planning commission and six years on the board of zoning appeals, where he said he currently is chairman.

Listing priorities for city government, Hall cited public safety, strong schools, a thriving business climate, high-quality city services and maintaining infrastructure, and he called for "open and honest discussions and communications among the residents." He specifically urged that the city be "proactive in moving forward with the development of Tri County Mall."
