Staff and the Planning & Zoning Special Master recommended approval for the presented cases, and motions were filed on the floor to approve the changes to allow a mobile home and to permit a site-built dwelling on two small parcels.
The board also approved a set of "no through trucks" restrictions for County Roads 101, 102, 103 and 104 after staff described vendor cut-through traffic tied to nearby commercial growth. County staff said the restriction is not a weight limit but rather a prohibition on nonlocal through-truck traffic enforced as a violation of a traffic control device; the board approved the restriction unanimously.
Several consent financial and contract items were approved. Among those, the board approved a contracts package that includes moving forward on design and a public-private arrangement to accelerate construction projects in corridor areas.
