Sumter County commissioners approve Farm City Week proclamation, make appointments and schedule Dec. 9 public hearing

The board appointed Ms. Snyder to the Construction Industry Licensing and Fire Code Board of Appeals to fill a vacancy. Commissioners also agreed to continue holiday‑season meals for firefighters countywide; the meeting noted that fundraising had raised more than $5,500 for turkey and relief costs.
