Rachel Bollins was sworn in as mayor at the start of the reorganization meeting. Judge Ed LaVine led the oath, and multiple elected officials and appointees repeated the oath to support and defend the Constitutions and to discharge duties with fidelity.
Colleagues presented a certificate of achievement to Bollins and offered congratulations. Several council members and residents made brief congratulatory remarks recognizing long service, infrastructure projects and community events championed by outgoing leaders.
The ceremony included the swearing-in of other officials and acknowledgments of recent and ongoing borough projects, including trail and park improvements, Streetscape projects, and public safety upgrades referenced by long-serving council members.
