The Flower Mound Community Development Corporation voted unanimously on Jan. 29 to fill its annual officer posts for one-year terms, electing John Minyoung as CDC president.
The meeting opened with an explanation of officer duties under the CDC bylaws and the chair took nominations for president, vice president, treasurer and secretary. John Minyoung was nominated for president and the motion to elect him passed on a unanimous roll-call vote. Members also moved and voted to fill the remaining offices (vice president, treasurer and secretary); the motions passed unanimously as recorded in the meeting transcript but the transcript did not record all nominees’ full names for each office.
Those elected will serve one-year terms under CDC rules. The board followed its standard roll-call procedure for each vote. No public comments were received during the portion of the meeting covering election business.
The CDC meets again in May to take up budget and project items; the newly elected officers will serve through the board’s next annual election cycle unless a vacancy arises.
