Flower Mound staff lay out pavement-maintenance strategy as PCI update nears

Flower Mound public-works staff on Jan. 13 outlined the town's pavement-maintenance toolbox and how consultant-produced pavement-condition data drives repair priorities.
Assistant Director Manny Plasias described the Street Division's responsibilities and resources, saying the division has 13 full-time employees and an operations budget of about $4.1 million for the fiscal year. He told the commission the town's road network covers roughly 370 miles, of which nearly 80% is concrete and the remainder is primarily asphalt.
